More from Little League World Series

As with every season, there are both the International and United States brackets, and when all is finished, the winners from each side will play for the overall title.

There are some talented squads on the United States side this season, and on Thursday, two of them will get the festivities for this season underway as the champions of the Great Lakes Region, Illinois, will take on the champs of the Northwest Region, Washington.

This game will be the first of a long haul over the next few weeks, but who knows, while these two are starting the Little League World Series off for this season, one of them could very well be ending it by running the gauntlet and ending up in the title game when all is said and done.

Here is how you can watch all of the action live on Thursday.

Date: Aug. 14

Start Time: 3 PM ET

Location: Williamsport, PA

Stadium: Lamade Stadium
