Jimmy Graham flagged, punches goal post (GIF)
On Friday, the New Orleans Saints’ and their high-powered offense featuring one of the league’s best quarterbacks in Drew Brees and the league’s best tight end, Jimmy Graham (although there is some debate here if New England Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski is healthy) were back in action.

The Saints are playing host to the Tennessee Titans and Brees is getting the night off in favor of backup Luke McCown. Even without Brees, the Saints got off to a very fast start. McCown led the Saints on a 16-play, 80-yard drive that took up the first 6:30 of the game. The drive was capped by a six-yard touchdown pass to Graham.
Graham is not only famous for being an elite pass-catcher but he also challenged the NFL’s ruling that he would given the franchise tag as a tight end, claiming he should be tagged as a wide receiver, but he eventually lost his cause. He’s also known for his celebrations after scoring. Graham, who played four years of basketball with the Miami Hurricanes before joining the football team for a year, dunks the ball through the uprights after almost every score. The NFL, however, has cracked down on celebrations and Graham can no longer dunk. After his touchdown on Friday, Graham was issued a 15-yard penalty for dunking once again and showed his frustration by punching the goal post. You can watch Graham’s fight with the goal post below.
