Davis, a 13-year-old girl, is just the 18th girl to ever play in the Little League World Series, but she is dominating like no one before here.
On Friday, Davis became the first girl to throw a shutout in Little League World Series history.
Davis is representing the Mid-Atlantic with her teammates from Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons, and her 70 mph fastball has been giving opponents fits. In addition to her shutout on Friday in the LLWS, Davis pitched a shutout in the Mid-Atlantic Final to give her team a berth in Williamsport.
Just how dominant has Davis been in her past two outings?
It doesn’t get much more impressive than that.
While Blake Money and his little brother Cash have been getting a lot of attention for their names, it is Miss Mo’Ne who is generating all of the buzz because of her talent on the baseball diamond.
It is going to be interesting to see how the Taney Dragons fare when they take on the winner of the Southwest-New England game in their next outing.
