5) Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears

Despite his sometimes “interesting” personality, Brandon Marshall is incredibly consistent and effective. The 30-year-old Marshall has posted seven consecutive seasons with 1,000 yards or more, and during that time, he has eclipsed 100 receptions five times without ever falling below 80 catches. In short, he’s a monster.

As referenced during the profile of his teammate, Alshon Jeffery, Marshall probably isn’t quite the same physical specimen that he was five years ago, but his route-running and size cover up for that small issue. He gobbles up targets, and while he had some drop issues last year, he is an all-field threat who can still get down the field while maintaining his status as an elite possession receiver.

The shift from Marshall to Jeffery as the “number one” may be afoot in Chicago, but Marshall hasn’t ceded control just yet.
