Eric Bledsoe Rumors: Suns expected to end drama by October 1st

The Phoenix Suns have a slew of point guards ready to go for the 2014-15 season, but among them is not star Eric Blesdoe, who is int he middle of a contract battle with the Suns who are seemingly refusing to pay him what he wants.

It’s s situation that has grown more and more volatile as the weeks and months have gone by and the deeper each side digs in, the more angry the whole situation becomes on all sides.
According to NBA scribe Chuck Myron, he drama with Eric Bledsoe and the Suns will likely end by October 1st but there’s more to it than just that as the situation is as complicated as it gets.
"Well, without a doubt it ends before October 1st, since that’s when Bledsoe’s qualifying offer expires. But he won’t be signing that, regardless. I think they’ll eventually come to terms for something less than the max but more than the Suns are offering now. Maybe Bledsoe will get an opt-out after the third year as a concession. But it’s really hard to envision Bledsoe not going to camp with the Suns at the end of next month. So I think we’ll have a resolution sometime within the next six weeks."
The bottom line is that Bledsoe wants to get paid, the Suns don’t want to lock up that much money in him and the stand off is continuing. Something is going to happen one way or the other but at the end of the day, this situation is too toxic for Bledsoe and the Suns to remain together.
