The Milwaukee Bucks drafted a rookie stud last year in Giannis Antetokounmpo and they grabbed another potential star this summer in Jabari Parker out of Duke. The young stars in the making may form a tandem that makes the Bucks relevant but it gives the team something more important.

More from Milwaukee Bucks

According to NBA scribe Chuck Myron, the Bucks will be building the future of their team around their two young stars, as both are on rookie contracts for the next few years, both could make the team attractive and good and both are stars in the making that Milwaukee needed.

"They’re both on rookie deals for at least three more seasons, and I think it’s far too premature to conclude that their games can’t mesh together, as some have suggested. The Bucks are a long, long way off from title contention, but don’t be surprised if they contend for the No. 8 seed this year. It would be hard for them to duplicate last year’s disaster, regardless."

The notion that the Bucks can be good isn’t’ that crazy as they’re not that many years removed from an ill-fated trip to the postseason. Milwaukee wants to do more than just go to the postseason, they want to win and right now their two young stars in the making may hold more potential value than just being good together on the court.
