We’ve made it! Football is back, and with that comes the over analyzing of the preseason, trying to find any advantage we can for our upcoming drafts. Many fantasy champions are made in the preseason. From analyzing rookies to scoping out all of the off-season moves, I will try to help you prepare as well. Miami Dolphins vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Ryan Tannehill continued his stellar preseason performance this week. He went 9 of 14 for 110 yards. His only mistake was a fumble caused by Gerald McCoy early in the second quarter. Tannehill continues to make strides, and is making his case to be a strong QB2 in all leagues.
- Mike Wallace was targeted three times last night, and failed to catch anything thrown his way. The same chemistry issues he seemed to have his first season in Miami continue to linger. Or maybe Bill Lazor has yet to fully utilize Mike Wallace in the preseason. At any rate, keep an eye on how he progresses. With his current low ADP, he could be a nice steal if he can somehow become the focal point of the offense like he was in Pittsburgh.
- Lamar Miller failed to do much on the ground, but was impressive catching his two targets for 20 yards. Miller continues to be a nice pick up in PPR leagues, with Knowshon Moreno having trouble this entire offseason and preseason.
- Doug Martin looked good last night. He gained 24 yards on six carries, and also hauled in one pass for four yards. With Charles Sims now out of the picture, Doug Martin’s stock gets a nice little bump.
