Bray Wyatt finally breaks through the glass ceiling.

It’s felt like forever, but SummerSlam felt like Bray Wyatt getting back to his old self.

Remember when Bray broke onto the scene? His first PPV, he beat Kane so badly that he sent the demon off screen for two months and, when he returned, he traded in his mask for a corporate suit.

Vicious Bray returned, clad in a butcher’s apron which I don’t believe has been seen since his time in NXT. He beat Jericho clean and without the help of the rest of his family.

Bray’s words finally have meaning once again. He isn’t just talking in riddles, now he’s talking in threats that he can back up. Chris Jericho is one of the biggest stars that the WWE has. Fans love him and he consistently gets some of the biggest pops whenever he returns. Now, Bray has sent him packing back to Fozzy.

Hopefully this momentum continues and Bray just runs roughshod over people for a few months to remind everyone of the monster he is.

Brie, you deserved everything that happened to you.

Brie Bella has been a grade-A terrible person ever since her return. She’s failed to realize that not just her quitting, but slapping Stephanie McMahon at Payback, put her sister in peril. A move, by the way, that did nothing to help her husband keep his belt.

She goaded Stephanie into attacking her simply so she could get her arrested. She then used those charges to blackmail Stephanie into re-hiring her and get into this match which, as Stephanie said, was nothing more than Brie posturing to get herself over on a McMahon.

Stephanie was right and Brie failed in every way possible.

Brie was simply dominated from beginning to end in this match. Stephanie McMahon, a woman that doesn’t wrestle full time, showed better in-ring chops and ability at gaining heel heat during a match in one night than Brie has her whole career.

Hell, even her ring gear was superior to Brie’s. Stephanie came out like a sexy, badass diva, and Brie trotted out in gear that appeared to be hastily bedazzled with “Brie Mode” just before the show.

The coup de grâce to the entire affair has Nikki sticking the nail into her sister’s coffin. Stephanie continuously foreshadowed this and warned Brie that her constant selfish actions would come back to haunt her. Again, Stephanie was 100% correct. Brie’s continuous selfish acts but Nikki in harm’s way so of course Nikki lashes out at her twin for the crap she’s had to put up with.

The Authority now has so much nuclear heat on them, it’s ridiculous. Nikki’s defection has pushed it even further over the edge. As long as we don’t throw any more stupid Claire Lynch-style angles into this, it’s going to be a great feud.
