One of the options for the Cardinals was free agent Pittsburgh Steelers legend Brett Keisel, who they reached out to and offered a work out to. But there will be no deal between the Cardinals and Keisel and it has nothing to do with what happened at his workout it has everything to do with the workout not happening.
According to Cardinals beat writer Kent Somers, the workout that the team offered will not be happening because Keisel refused the offer.
Source said Keisel declined visit invite. didn't want to leave his family. Steeler for 13 yrs. #azcardinals

It’s not all that surprising that Keisel refused a workout with the Cardinals because of his family as moving after 13 years in one place isn’t something you do just on a whim. In fact, it’s apparently a deal breaker for some NFL veterans as it was something that caused Keisel to turn down what likely could have been a sure deal with the Cardinals.
