Dominique Easley ‘good to go’ for New England Patriots
By Cory Buck
Dominique Easley had to wait a long time for his first full NFL practice with the New England Patriots, but now that he’s taken that step, he told reporters that he’s ‘good to go’ after having spent the better part of the last year recovering from a torn ACL suffered last September.

“It feels real good,” Easley said of his knee per the Providence Journal. “I haven’t done that since last September so it’s just a work in progress. Trying to get better every day.”
Easley was drafted in the first round, 29th overall, by the Patriots this past May despite only having played three games in his senior season at Florida. He can be slotted as either a defensive tackle or an end, depending on the coaching staff’s needs. He will join Vince Wilfork, Tommy Kelly, and Chandler Jones, among others, along the stout New England defensive line.
That versatility will be a big factor in Easley’s mental approach to his return, which he maintains is as strong as ever.
“As far as mentally, I’m good to go,” Easley said. “I already went through it one time so I feel good to go. I just got to work in with the team and do what I can with the team.”
