Davis, a 13-year-old girl, is just the 18th girl to ever play in the Little League World Series, but she is dominating like no one before here.
Last week, Davis became the first girl to throw a shutout in Little League World Series history.
Since then, Davis has been making the rounds in the media for interviews and has even been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. There is no denying the appeal that she has thanks to her 70 mph fastball that has been giving opponents fits.
In her previous two starts on the mound, Davis has given up just five hits, no runs and struck out 14 batters
Davis will have more eyes than ever before on her Wednesday night against Las Vegas when the game airs on ESPN, so we will have to see if she can handle the pressure.
If the way Davis has handled herself in interviews is any indication, the 13-year-old ace will be just fine.
