Bell is also facing DUI charges for driving under the influence of marijuana, after 20 grams of the green leafy substance were found in his vehicle following the traffic stop.
Both players are currently with the team as they prepare for tonight’s Week 3 preseason match up against the Philadelphia Eagles and they are both set to play.
But what about some potential punishment from the league?
According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, neither player is expected to be suspended during the 2014 NFL regular season.
However, as we saw with Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe who was arrested for the first game of this year following an arrest in 2013, they could still face possible punishment from the league in 2015.
