The arrest came just one day before the team was set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 of the NFL preseason, so fans were wondering whether or not the players would be suiting up for the team on Thursday night.
Now, we have our answer.
According to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, both Bell and Blount will be playing against the Eagles.
The reasoning was simple: Jobs are on the line and it is not fair to the rest of the team to suffer because of the poor decision by two of the players on the roster.
From Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network and NFL.com:
Mike Tomlin's plan is to play both Bell, Blount tonight. Jobs decided tonight; whole team shouldn't suffer. +Not a knee-jerk kind of guy

Mike Tomlin's decision to play Bell, Blount could theoretically be overruled by GM Kevin Colbert. Told by two team sources: unlikely

Blount flew with the team on their charter flight to Philadelphia, while Bell found his own way across the state.
There is a growing belief that neither player will be punished by the NFL for their run-in with the law, but we will have to wait on official word from the league before learning whether or not that is the case.
