Phoenix Suns rumors: Miles Plumlee in for a big pay day?
After a slow start to his career, former Duke Blue Devils’ big man Miles Plumlee showed great improvement in his second NBA season. At just 25 years old, Plumlee should continue to improve and may develop into a starting center in the league.

Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders believes Plumlee looks like a solid starting big man in the league and that could lead to an eventual pay day.
"Plumlee erupted last year after being traded to the Phoenix Suns. He had an equally strong summer league. If Plumlee continues where he left off going into his third year, he could be in line for a nice big man payday. Bigs that can play are always at a premium, and Plumlee looked the part of a big than could not only play, but could start for a number of teams."
Plumlee was originally drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 26th-overall selection in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. Plumlee appeared in just 14 games for the Pacers, putting up only 0.9 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.2 blocks per game in just 3.9 minutes per game. He was dealt, along with swingman Gerald Green, to the Suns in exchange for Luis Scola. With the Suns, he appeared in 80 games, starting 79 and playing 24.6 minutes per game. He averaged 8.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 50.7% from the field and 56.1% from the free throw line.
