Although just the preseason, the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers are really going after one another, which is what you would expect from the Keystone State rivals. The lick you are about to see is courtesy of new Steelers safety Mike Mitchell making Brent Celek pay for a catch over the middle.

As an outlet, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles dropped one off to Celek over the middle, who was immediately met and laid out by the veteran Mitchell.
However, he did hold on to the ball, and was also able to keep his lid on. Something he had a little trouble with earlier in the game.
When the Steelers signed Mitchell from the Carolina Panthers this offseason, most people loved that move because they knew that Mitchell’s hard-hitting style would fit in well with the way the Steelers play football. If this hit wasn’t a clear indication of how true that sentiment was, then I don’t know what it.
Having someone like Mitchell back there in the secondary will no doubt prove valuable down the road with a potential playoff push on the line.
