Fenway has to be a tough park for ball people, when you think about it. All those funky angles causing weird bounces.

And the way the stands jut out up the third base line, that creates a real challenge. If you’re ball girling in that area, you don’t have a lot of time to decide whether to field it or let it go. You have to make a snap call on whether it’s foul or fair and s a result, Red Sox ball girl flashes some leather up the third base line at Fenway Park.

Ball girl did a great job judging that this one was a foul and picking it before it had a chance to bounce into the stands and possibly hit a patron in the face.
You don’t want to be wrong on those of course because if it’s a fair ball and you field it, everyone rips you.
When you start to think about it, ball girling is a pretty stressful job. Not as bad as blogger, but still, there’s a lot of pressure in that gig.
