Drew Brees didn’t even play a full quarter in the New Orleans Saints’ Saturday night preseason game versus the Indianapolis Colts. But that didn’t stop the Saints stud quarterback from having a big night.

Brees finished the night with 128 passings yards and two touchdowns on 9 of 15 completions. His evening was punctuated by a dart thrown to receiver Marques Colston in the back of the endzone to put New Orleans up 14-7 with 0:32 left in the opening quarter.

Colston certainly deserves credit for his work on the play, as he goes up and gets it and makes sure his feet are inbounds. The 13-yard touchdown reception is one of two receptions for Colston on Saturday. His other catch went for 12 yards.
Brees and Co. surely look ready for regular season action.
Brees threw for 5,162 yards and 39 touchdowns this past season with the Saints. Colston caught 75 passes for 943 yards and five touchdowns.
