The St.Louis Rams suffered quite the scare on Saturday during their preseason matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Starting quarterback Sam Bradford went down and had to be carted off the field.
But ESPN’s Adam Schefter quickly reported that Bradford didn’t suffer an ACL injury, which was the immediate concern following the play.
Initial tests on Rams QB Sam Bradford's knee did not show damage to ACL. Team "dodged a bullet." Still, more tests on knee scheduled Sunday.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher took a torch to Schefter in his postgame interview, but still hinted that Bradford avoided a major injury.
Jeff Fisher said Adam Schefter "knows everything" and "it would be really unfair for me to be Adam Schefter-like"

#Rams coach Jeff Fisher says he is "very optimistic" for Sam Bradford's quick return. But won't make any "predictions" until tests tomorrow

It would devastating for the Rams if Bradford were to miss significant time, so Schefter and Fisher’s suggestions about the lack of severity of Bradford’s injury is great news for the team.
