St. Louis Rams confirm left knee injury for Sam Bradford; Will not return vs. Browns
By Jack Crosby
You could hear the entire St. Louis Rams organization hold their breath on Saturday night as starting quarterback Sam Bradford went down after a hit with an apparent leg injury and had to be carted off the field.
If you missed the hit, you can view it below.
It didn’t seem as if it was that devastating of a hit at the time, but it was enough to make the oft-injured signal caller leave the game, And according to a statement released by the team, he will not be returning to the game on Saturday night against the Cleveland Browns, and all they are saying about the injury at this time is that it’s an injury to his left leg.
Bradford is trying to come back this season from a torn ACL that he suffered last year that kept him out for most of the season. Throughout his NFL career, and his college one as well, one of the criticisms of Bradford is his inability to stay healthy and on the field for the team.
Unfortunately for he and the Rams, they may have suffered yet another setback.
