‘No chance’ Mark Sanchez wants to reunite with OC Brian Schottenheimer in St. Louis
By Mike Dyce
The St. Louis Rams lost starting quarterback Sam Bradford to an ACL injury for the entire 2014 season. That leaves them scrambling to find a new quarterback, which means either most likely back up Shaun Hill, or another starter who is currently available.

There is the recently released former Dallas Cowboys back up Kyle Orton, or they could go after someone currently on another team’s roster. One intriguing option could be Philadelphia Eagles back up Mark Sanchez.
Not only is he a player with starters experience, who led the New York Jets to a pair of AFC Championship games, he is familiar with coordinator Brian Schottenheimer from their time together. While Sanchez from that thought process seems like a logical target, he has no interest in saving the Rams.
From the USA TODAY:
"But if Sanchez has anything to say about it, there’s “no chance” he’d abandon his fresh start as a backup under coach Chip Kelly with the Philadelphia Eagles for a shot to rejoin Schottenheimer and play in St. Louis, a person with knowledge of Sanchez’s thinking told USA TODAY Sports on Sunday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because any trade talks were to remain private."
There also is little to no incentive for Chip Kelly and the Eagles to give up Sanchez if he is content riding the pine.
