Report: Rams QB Sam Bradford out for season with torn ACL
By Jack Crosby
The St. Louis Rams were really hoping for the best in regards to starting quarterback Sam Bradford after he went down with a knee injury against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday night. Well unfortunately, they’re not getting the best as Chris Mortensen in reporting that Bradford is lost for the season after suffering another ACL tear.
Bradford went down after a rough shot on a pass play, and the trainers immediately went out on the field to check on him. Head coach Jeff Fisher was also there as well, and Bradford was eventually carted off the field, the first sign that the prognosis was not good.

Earlier in the day on Sunday the team announced that Fisher will hold a press conference at 5:30 PM ET, and now we know that this will be to inform the media that Bradford will miss the year.
The former Heisman winner missed most of last season with an ACL tear in the same knee that he injured on Saturday, and now even more people are going to call his NFL career into question.
Having the history of injuries that Bradford does, dating all the way back to his days at Oklahoma, the end of the road could be near for the injury-prone star.
