St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher confirms QB Sam Bradford out for the season with torn ACL
By Jack Crosby
Earlier in the day on Sunday it was reported that the worst fears for the St. Louis Rams were confirmed, with tests showing that starting quarterback Sam Bradford would be lost for the season with a torn ACL. Just a few moments ago, this news was confirmed by head coach Jeff Fisher as he met with the media.
Fisher also did go on to confirm that backup Shaun Hill will be who they’ll be going with under center moving forward.
This is devastating news for the Rams and Bradford, as many thought he was poised to finally have a breakout year after he missed nearly half of the season last year following a tear of the same ACL that he injured on Saturday night against the Cleveland Browns.

However, now we won’t get to see that, and it’ll be interesting to see where everything goes from here. With the rash of injuries that Bradford has sustained throughout his career, you have to wonder if the Rams will ultimately move on from their former top draft pick.
