Two days ago Pittsburgh Steelers fan, rapper, and name changer extraordinaire Snoop Dogg released a video on Instagram relaying a message to Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley. In layman’s terms, Snoop Dogg is really sick and tired of Haley’s play calling, and asked head coach Mike Tomlin to fire Haley and find a new offensive coordinator.

Instead of brushing Snoop’s verbal assault aside, Haley plans on taking it in stride by cooling off Snoop Dogg quite literally. According to ESPN and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Todd Haley is planning on taking the Ice Bucket Challenge and then subsequently nominating Snoop Dogg to do so as well.

Unless you live under a rock you have heard and seen the Ice Bucket Challenge make waves through social media across the world. The challenge has helped raise awareness for ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and millions of dollars in donations have come thru since it began earlier this month.

The Ice Bucket Challenge has a volunteer dump a bucket of ice water on their head or choose to donate $100 to the ALS foundation. If you want to learn more about ALS, the Ice Bucket Challenge, and where to donate, click here.

As for Haley, it is nice to see him go with the flow and instead of dismissing Snoop’s tirade altogether, trying to help a very worthy cause gain even more attention.

It seems Haley may be a terrible offensive coordinator (according to Snoop Dogg of course), but he is clearly a genuinely good human being.
