If most people were given a $15 million check, they’d be to the bank so quickly to cash it they might not even stop at red lights. Not Peterson though, he has yet to cash the check.
“I just haven’t gotten around to it,” Peterson told The Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King.
That is a great problem to have at 24-years-old, though it is hard to believe he got a physical check and it wasn’t direct-deposited. While it might seem shocking that he hasn’t cashed it, it might not necessarily be a bad thing.
It means Peterson can’t spend it or blow through it yet, but at the same time it means he doesn’t really have any plans to spend it. Of course with training camp and preparing for the NFL season he likely has been too busy to dream up ways of spending it.
