According to Barry Jackson from the Miami Herald, the Heat haven’t told Beasley he’s not welcomed back but they also haven’t shown an interest in offering him a contract.

"The Heat has told Beasley it has not closed the door on a return, though Miami never really tells any free agent that it has ruled out a return. But Miami hasn’t made an offer to him, either, and it appears barring a change of heart that the Heat has moved on, having given Beasley’s jersey number to Williams. Beasley is not the reliable player he could have been as he’s a bit clumsy at times, isn’t  consistent shooter by any means and is weak on defense. Those are all bad things to be if you’re looking to play for a contender in the NBA and that’s likely why Beasley hasn’t found a job yet.
