2. Seattle Seahawks: Tarvaris Jackson

Tarvaris Jackson knows how hard it is to be week-in, week-out starter in the NFL. In his career with Minnesota and Seattle, Jackson has a 17-17 record as a starting quarterback and was Seattle’s starting quarterback in 2011.

As a backup, Jackson has it much easier because teams can’t prepare quite as well to face Jackson, who uses his speed and athleticism to be successful as much as any quarterback in the league.

Jackson also knows how good he has it playing behind Russell Wilson in Seattle. Other than Seattle being the coolest city in America (a proven fact, just ask anyone from Seattle), Jackson has a solid running game and one of the best defenses in the league to help him win the game.

Jackson doesn’t have to throw for 300 yards and multiple touchdowns to win. If Jackson just holds onto the ball and hits a few open receivers over the course of the game, he has put the Seahawks in a position to win.

Plus, Wilson has yet to miss a game in his two full seasons in the league. That’s almost as good as it gets.
