Bradford was hit high by one Browns defender and low by another, as he fell to the turf grabbing his injured knee.
Initial test results showed no damage to Bradford’s ACL and Rams head coach Jeff Fisher was optimistic that Bradford would be able to make a quick return to the field.
That was ultimately not the case as the follow up tests revealed.
St. Louis is now forced to start the season with veteran signal-caller Shaun Hill under center, as they continue discuss whether or not to add another quarterback to the roster in case Hill has his struggles during the 2014-15 regular season.
It is an obviously blow to what seemed to be a team that was heading in the right direction.
