5 quarterbacks who could replace Rams QB Sam Bradford
Josh Freeman, QB, Free Agent
When the Giants signed Josh Freeman during the offseason, many around the NFC, or at east New York began to think that the Giants finally had a solid backup to Eli Manning.
After the Giants let him go barely a few weeks after signing him, Freeman is still in the market.
While he had issues with Tampa Bay prior to his release from the Bucs last year, Freeman is still a very talented young quarterback, who will be incredibly affordable for the Rams.
In just five years with the Bucs and a game with Minnesota, Freeman has thrown for 13,724 yards with 80 touchdowns and 67 interceptions.
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher would be a great coach and mentor of sort for Freeman, who’s more known for having issues with his front office and coaching staff in the past. If Fisher could get through to Freeman to get his act right, Freeman could become one of the best quarterbacks for the Rams since Kurt Warner.
