The South Carolina Gamecocks are not having a good time Thursday night in their season-opening game against the Texas A&M Aggies. Currently in the second half, they are getting blown out at home, and do not look anything like the SEC East favorite we all thought they would coming in.

This team just could not really catch many breaks, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The Texas A&M defense has not allowed them very much on Thursday night, and they’ve also been bringing the wood as well.

Like this play from Aggies defensive back Armani Watts.

Near the end of the first half, South Carolina QB Dylan Thompson dropped back and saw a wide open Nick Jones down the field in the end zone. He was able to hit him with the perfect strike, and it looked as if the Gamecocks would have the six points.

That was until Watts wanted to make his presence felt.

This has been about how the entire night has gone for South Carolina, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better here in the second half.

The Spurrier press conference following this game is going to be fun, to say the least.
