Everyone was dead set on the South Carolina Gamecocks, the preseason favorite among many to win the SEC East, to beat the tar our of the Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday night in the SEC opener, given the fact that Johnny Manziel is no longer around.

Well Manziel’s replacement Kenny Hill and the rest of the Texas A&M team had other ideas, as not only did they prove people wrong by winning the game, they shoved it right in the doubter’s faces, putting on an offensive show and dominating the Gamecocks to get the win, 52-28.
Hill had one of the more impressive debuts that we have ever seen, even etching his name into the record books on the first night. The sophomore went 44-of-60 in his debut game for 511 yards, which was good enough to set the single-game passing yardage record at the school, overtaking the man that he is replacing, Johnny Manziel.
The A&M offense did not miss a beat in this one, tallying a mind-blowing 680 yards of total offense, stunning the South Carolina defense for four quarters of football.
Another bright spot on this A&M offense on Thursday night was the rushing efforts of Tra Carson, who finished his night with three touchdowns on seven carries with 30 total yards. Malcome Kennedy led the way in the receiving department in helping Hill put his name into the record books, catching 14 passes for 137 yards.
This game was simply a beat down from start to finish, a beat down that no one really saw coming.
But right now, the rest of the SEC sees one thing coming, and that is the buzzsaw that is this Texas A&M offense.
