Roseboro is the nation’s No. 109 ranked recruit overall regardless of position, No. 7 strong-side defensive end and the No. 5 recruit in the state of North Carolina, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
At 6-4, 285-pounds he projects as a defensive tackle once he arrives in Ann Arbor, which will be in January as he plans to enroll early so he can take part in spring practice and give him a better shot at earning playing time as a freshman. With Frank Clark and Brennen Beyer gone after this season, there is a strong chance he can crack the two-deep as a rookie.
Roseboro visited Michigan in April and later in June for the BBQ at the Big House when the Wolverines cemented their place atop the list of leaders for the talented defensive lineman who picked Michigan over offers from North Carolina State, Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina and Tennessee.
With today’s commitment of Roseboro, Michigan now owns the nation’s No. 18 class overall and the No. 3 class in the Big Ten, according to the 247Sports team rankings with 11 total commitments. Roseboro is the fourth-highest ranked commitment for Brady Hoke’s 2015 class and the first defensive lineman to commit to Michigan.
Roseboro has 125 tackles last year as a junior with 21 coming for a loss and 11 sacks. In his first three seasons on the prep level he has 339 tackles, 63 tackles for loss and 26 sacks.
