Eric Decker was so eager to get rid of his raggedy-looking preseason mustache, he didn’t even wait to get out of the Jets’ locker room after Thursday night’s preseason finale.

Decker grabbed a pair of clippers right there in the locker room and shaved off the stache. Goodbye Eric Decker’s Mark Sanchez-looking facial hair. Click on the link in the tweet embedded below to watch Decker shed the upper-lip fur.

My opinion? Decker still looks worse after shaving off the stache. He needs to hit up a barbershop and get that thing straightened out.
My advice would be to shave the thing off entirely and go with the clean look. Decker isn’t one of those guys who can pull off the bad-boy facial hair thing. He’s a clean-cut All-American lad, so he should go run with that.
The dirty look didn’t work for Mark Sanchez in New York and it won’t work for Decker either. By the way Eric Decker, what’s it like going from Peyton Manning to Geno Smith? Just curious.
Don’t be shocked if Eric Decker experiences a statistical fall-off this year. I don’t play fantasy football but if I did, I’d stay the hell away from Eric Decker, stache or no stache.
