ESPN College GameDay signs: Best of Week 1
By Mike Dyce
It is college football season, and that means ESPN’s traveling Saturday morning show “College GameDay” is back. Nothing makes Saturday mornings in the fall better than College GameDay.
Fans crowd the background of the stage to hold up hilarious and witty signs, some better than others. Lee Corso and his cohorts make their picks at the end of the show for the big games, and Corso does so in style, usually by putting on the mascots head.
Well the first show this season is being broadcast from Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The ESPN crew is in Fort Worth because of the Advocare Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium tonight, when the Oklahoma State Cowboys take on the defending National Champions Florida State University.
While the game isn’t till later today, we’re already getting to enjoy the signs that come with the College GameDay experience. Here are some of the best:
I prefer the Jameis Winston crab legs one over the Purdue sign.
Which is popular.
And fun fact, was made by our Josh Sanchez.
And this one not because of West Virginia, but the Paul Finebaum sign to the right.
