The Florida State Seminoles are beginning the defense of their national championship on Saturday night against the Oklahoma State Cowboys inside AT&T Stadium, and so far in the first half, things are not panning out well for Heisman winner Jameis Winston.

While the ‘Noles are holding the lead as the game approaches the half, Winston has been less than stellar in his first appearance of the 2014 season, and that’s evidenced by the fact that late in the half, Winston threw his second interception of the game.

Watch in the video below as Winston rolls to his right and just makes a bad decision in trying to get the ball to senior Rashad Greene, and it ends up getting snagged by Oklahoma State defensive back Ashton Lampkin.

For someone who was near perfect last season, or about as close as you could possibly be en route to a Heisman as a freshman, this definitely raised some red flags for some.

In the first half, Winston finished with 205 yards on 14-of-22 passing with no touchdowns and the two picks. The Seminoles currently have the lead at the break, 17-10, but the Cowboys are beginning to show some life here, and will be looking to pull off the upset in the second half.

If they could force more picks, that could very well happen.
