They drafted Victor Oladipo last year, had a great draft this summer and are waiting for some players on their roster to pop they way they’ve been waiting for years to see. One of those players is Nikola Vucevic, as the Magic are waiting for him to pop in their lineup and this might be the year that happens.
Basketball Insider’s Jeff Zitzler opines that Nikola Vucevic could be in for a huge season if he can stay healthy the full 82 game slate.
"When fully healthy, Vucevic has shown to be one of the steadiest contributors for the young Magic. He will be an important piece as the team continues to develop their talented core. If Vucevic can stay healthy, he should be in line for another very productive season. At just 23 years old, Vucevic’s best basketball is likely still ahead of him and he could be a cornerstone for Orlando to build around going forward."
Vucevic is a guy that the Magic want to build around and he’s someone that can be a leader for the Magic moving forward and can be a giant pillar for Orlando. It’s hard to say if Vucevic can really become who the Magic want him to be but this is the season to show what he has.
