After reports came out that he was going to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, it seems that Ray Allen is going to be courted by a few other massive teams around the league which puts a strain on him possibly playing for Cleveland.
According to Marc Stein from ESPN.com, the San Antonio Spurs are getting on on the Ray Allen hunt and may end up making a push to sign him before the season starts.
The Spurs are new to the mix and come into play a day after the Los Angeles Clippers came out of nowhere to enter the sweepstakes as well.
It’s a three headed monster with San Antonio, Los Angeles and Cleveland all vying for Allen’s services but only one can land him and that’s assuming he even plays this year.
