The FIBA World Cup tips off today in Spain and that means some of the best basketball players in the world are going to be toe-to-toe in a race for one of the most prized possessions in international basketball play.

Unlike some of the other matchups that are taking place today, both rosters for Brazil and France feature some stout NBA talent which is sure to make it one of the best games of the opening day of the FIBA World Cup. On the French side of things there will be the likes of Boris Diaw, Nicolas Batum and others representing the NBA while Brazil has players like Anderseon Varejao and Tiago Splitter leading the way.
It will no doubt be one of the more interesting matchups as both France and Brazil have a serious chance to make a run in group play and to a World Cup final, but the work is still ahead of both teams and it won’t be an easy journey.
