Los Angeles Clippers close to signing Chris Douglas-Roberts

The Los Angeles Clippers have a pair of open roster spots they’re looking to fill and the team is scouring the veteran market to see where the best option is.

There was a report that the Clippers were targeting Ray Allen for one of their open roster spots but it appears that they’ve moved on from this to focus on two other veterans that can help just as much.
on Sunday night it was reported that Hedo Tukoglu was on his way back to the Clippers and veteran Chris Douglas-Roberts appears to be in the same boat. According to Clippers beat writer Dan Woike, the Clippers are close to signing Douglas-Roberts this week.
Can confirm Woj report that LAC is close to a deal with Hedo Turkoglu. Team is also close to signing Chris Douglas-Roberts, per a source.

He’s not hte flashiest name in the NBA but Douglas-Roberts has been getting attention from some big contenders. He worked out for the Miami Heat and now the Clippers are closing in on a deal for him.
It’s not Ray Allen, which is what fans instantly wanted once they heard the news, but adding Turkoglu and Douglas-Roberts to the roster isn’t at all that bad of a haul.
