Robert Griffin III is going into his third season in the NFL, and the former Heisman Trophy winner likely can not wait to shut the mouths of critics around the country.

Griffin and the Redskins were absolutely deplorable during the preseason. The offense as a whole was inept, but Griffin played exceptionally bad in limited minutes.
The Redskins are employing a new offense and have a new head coach in Jay Gruden that obviously will take some time to develop, so while the criticisms are warranted, they may be writing the team off a bit too early.
One of the major criticisms Griffin has faced thus far in the offseason was from ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski, who stated that Griffin’s mechanics have “regressed”. Another major criticism came from legendary former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann, who said that if the Redskins were employing a quarterback competition, backup Kirk Cousins would have won the job handily.
Ultimately, Griffin will step on the field this Sunday against the Houston Texans and will look to prove he is among the best quarterbacks in the league. Earlier today, Griffin noted that during the last several practices the team has fixed their errors and are ready to go this Sunday.
Griffin says "we've fixed what we needed to fix in practice. That's for us to know and you to find out."
