Stephen Hill has struggled to find his footing in the NFL since joining the league as a second-round pick of the New York Jets.

More from Carolina Panthers

When the Jets were making their final roster cuts to reach the 53-man limit for the start of the regular season, Hill was among the casualties and the team decided to move on.

Hill went unclaimed on the waiver wire which made him a free agent.

However, he now has a home.

According to reports, the Carolina Panthers have added Hill to their 10-man practice squad.

There is no denying Hill has raw talent and presents an intriguing mix of size and speed, but until he is able to make everything work he will have a hard time making an impact in the league.

The good news for Hill is that he couldn’t have found himself in a better situation, with the Panthers being thin at the position.
