Josh Brent and Stacey Jackson are always going to be linked together with one another. Not because Brent was friends with her son Jerry Brown but because Brent was driving the car that crash and killed her son back in 2012.

But rather than despise and hate Brent for taking her son away, Jackson has embraced him — to an extent — and supported him through her forgiveness of him. Her support has gone as far as her proclaiming that Brent deserves another chance to pl ay in the NFL which is why she is happy for him that said second chance has been granted.
"“I’m very happy Josh has been reinstated with the Dallas Cowboys!” Jackson said. “My beautiful son is in Heaven now, and Josh has to be given a chance to live his life and do something for someone else! We all make mistakes, and we all have an entrance date and an exit day. Although I miss Jerry every day, I know he would be very happy that Josh has another chance to play football!”"
That’s more than just a strong mother and woman speaking — that’s an extraordinarily strong human being. Not everyone is capable of forgiveness,just watch an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where literally everything is the end of the world.
Jackson lost her son, someone she gave birth to and raised, and she found it in her to forgive and support the man who did it. That’s a special type of person and someone we can only hope to be one-tenth as strong as.
