“If he does follow me, it will be an exciting matchup,” Wallace said per the Miami Herald. “I’ll have fun. Go after it all day long.”
Darrelle Revis is a shadowing master in the NFL. He clings to his opponent’s top receiver and is notorious for shutting them down and eliminating one side of the field for a defense. Fantasy football players all over used to bench even the best receivers in the league when they were matched up against Revis during his time with the New York Jets. Now Revis hopes to shut down Wallace, but the speedy receiver isn’t backing down from the challenge.
“I’m just out there trying to play football. I don’t get into too much back and forth, this or that,” Wallace said. “For me, mentally, it’s about myself and being in the spots I need to be in, and doing what I’m coached to do. I’m not really worried about one guy.”
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 PM EST at Sun Life Stadium. The game will be broadcasted by CBS.
