Tomorrow night, we’ll kickoff yet another long-anticipated NFL season. The road to the Super Bowl will officially begin in Seattle and the process of crowning the next champion will be underway.
Over the past decade, we’ve said goodbye to some all-time great players and witnessed some extraordinary teams. Some of the teams we’ve watched play could be considered among the best in history.
I’ve gone back through the past ten seasons and created NFL rankings for the top 20 teams.
Spoiler alert: If a team won the Super Bowl, they made the list. That said, just because a team won its conference doesn’t guarantee them a spot in these rankings. The fact is, sometimes a team will back its way into a Super Bowl, only to be exposed for what they are once there. Other teams wowed us for entire seasons but fell short of the big game. A few of those teams made the list.
