Arizona started off their season with a win over UNLV last weekend, 58-13. Anu Solomon was phenomenal under center for the Wildcats in his first start of the season, finishing up with 425 yards on 25-of-44 passing with four touchdowns and no interceptions.
Leading the way in the rushing department of the vaunted Rich Rodriguez offense were both Terris Jones-Grisby and Nick Wilson, both of whom cracked the century mark in the win. Jones-Grisby finished with 124 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown, while Wilson recorded 104 yards on just seven carries with a touchdown of his own.
UTSA opened up their season last week with a huge win over the Houston Cougars, 27-7. The defense was the most telling part of the win, as they were able to hold the high-powered Houston attack to just 208 yards total on the night. It was a stern reminder that Larry Coker is still one of the best coaches in the game.
