To the delight of many across the country, the NFL season is opening up on Thursday night with a game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers, and already the hits are coming out in full force, as displayed by Packers linebacker Clay Matthews early on in this one.

After the Packers failed to get any points on their first offensive drive of the game, they punted the ball away to the Seahawks offense, which is expected to be even more efficient than it was last season in their run to the Super Bowl. Well Matthews made sure that he tried to throw them off of their rhythm.

Hey, it’s a long time between the end of last season and the beginning of this one, so there are defensive players around the league that are ready to start laying the lumber on their offensive counterparts. Matthews just happened to have the opportunity in front of him tonight to get that aggression out before anyone else.
