Keys to Victory
The Eagles enter this one as the far superior team. If they can avoid turnovers and uncharacteristic mistakes, they should come away with this one. The Jaguars ranked 29th in rushing yards per game allowed this past season, so Philly should be able to ride LeSean McCoy to the finish line.
If Jacksonville wants to pull off the shocking upset, they have to take advantage of the Eagles’ shoddy pass defense (32nd in passing yards per game allowed in 2013). Chad Henne’s not a great quarterback, but that hasn’t prevented others from beating up on Philly through the air before. Also, as mentioned before, forcing turnovers will be key in a game like this.

Prediction
The Jaguars are just outmatched in this one. Even if they are able to somehow slow down Shady McCoy, Foles and Co. should find success against Jacksonville’s poor secondary (26th in passing yards per game allowed last season) through the air. Still, as has been discussed, the Eagles don’t have a great defense themselves, so the Jags will find pay dirt a couple of times.
