Levi’s Stadium, the new home of the San Francisco 49ers, is quite the attraction for football fans. But don’t expect to go there for even somewhat of an inexpensive price.

Attending a Niners game will run a family of four a whopping $641, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

"The Fan Cost Index published by sports business publication Team Marketing Report includes parking, four average priced tickets, two programs, two beers, two hats, four soft drinks and four hot dogs.Rising to the top shouldn’t come as a surprise to 49ers fans, as the new Levi’s Stadium — which had personal seat licenses ranging from $2,000 to $80,000 per seat — was the key contributor to the rise. The average ticket price of a general seat (excluding club seats or suites) rose 40 percent in a year to $117 per seat, per game."

Incredibly enough, the 49ers don’t lead the way in terms of average ticket price. That “honor” would go to the New England Patriots, who charges its fans $122 to catch a game on average.

Still, perhaps the most absurd piece of information from Rovell’s piece: The Dallas Cowboys charge $75 to park.

We’ve seen in recent years an increase in fans opting to watch games at home instead of attending them and it’s not hard when looking at these numbers to figure out why.

The Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets were among those that lowered their season-ticket prices.

The NFL season kicks off with the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks facing off at CenturyLink Field Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. ET.
