After taking a 17-10 lead into the half, the Seahawks might have been even better in the second half.
Their pass rush off of the edge began to dominate the Packers’ offensive tackles, pressuring Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers throughout the night, forcing him into an interception, a safety and a sack on a fourth down play in the second half. Rodgers, however, kept fighting and a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb cut the lead to 29-16 in the fourth quarter.
That’s when the Seahawks decided to end the game. They went on a 13-play, 80-yard drive that took seven minutes off of the clock. On fourth-and-one from the Packers’ 14-yard line, Russell Wilson found Derrick Coleman for a touchdown to give the Seahawks a 36-16 lead with just 2:31 to play.
