the New Orleans Pelicans haven’t gotten all they’ve wanted to out of forward Ryan Anderson yet but that could all change this season. Injuries plagued the Pelicans last season and Ryan Anderson was a victim of that wave.

Anderson is going to be coming back this season though and he could be returning better than ever. Even injured, Anderson drew comparisons to Kevin Love this summer which were negative for Love but proved that the ceiling is high for Anderson.
The Pelicans forward confirmed he has been medically cleared to play again in an Instagram photo he posted to his personal account this week.
Anderson attached this caption to his photo, which emphasizes his relief to be back and ready to return to basketball.
"I’m cleared for contact! After 8 months out, I can finally play again. Thank you God!"
New Orleans will gladly take Anderson back this year as he was starting to show All-Star flashes before falling victim to the injury bug. There’s no saying he’ll be healthy all year long but the Pelicans need Anderson back and that’s exactly what they’re getting.
