The Green Bay Packers are taking on the Seattle Seahawks and the 12th man on Thursday night in the first NFL game of the season. The Seahawks fans are known for their tendency to be loud making it impossible for opponents to hear each other on the field and communicate.

The NBC broadcast team did a nifty little bit where they took one of Aaron Rodgers helmets and showed you what it sounds like inside the helmet. This is the first time I’ve personally heard the speaker inside the helmet which makes it intriguing for two different reasons.
It doesn’t sound very clear, kind of like a drive through intercom, don’t know whether that is because of the crowd noise or the helmet itself. It does sound kind of loud though, almost too loud to have that in your ear the whole game, though at CenturyLink Field you might need it to be loud.
